About our Chocolate

Do your products contain nuts?

Our factory is a nut-free facility and therefore all our chocolate recipes and format are nut free also. 

Do any of your products contain sugar?

All our chocolate contains no added sugar. The only sugar is that which is naturally occurring from the ingredients.

How long do your products last?

The best before date is up to 24-months from the date of manufacture.

How do you source your ingredients?

Our chocolate products are made using Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa mass and butter.

Do your products contain palm oil?

All our chocolate recipes and formats are created from palm free recipes. Our factory however is not palm free facility, therefore the product cannot be called palm free.

Order Questions

HOT WEATHER DELIVERIES!

Occasionally there may be instances where the delivery may take place in hot weather. The only thing we can do to help prevent chocolate melting is if the temperature rises above 25c at our fulfillment centre, then we will delay your delivery until the weather conditions are better to ensure it gets there in perfect condition.

If this happens, you will be notified by email that your delivery may be late due to the weather conditions and how long it will be delayed. We always keep you up to date with any progress and notify you as soon as deliver can continue.

Unfortunately, we have no control over either the changeable weather conditions while in transit and also of the vehicles used by the couriers as some are air-conditioned and others are not. 

Why can I only order 12 bar boxes?

To make things as economical as possible for you! By only offering 12 bar boxes we are able to reduce the per bar cost! Also help the environment with less deliveries and packaging!

What are your available shipping options?

All orders before 12pm are sent out the same day using a tracked NEXT WORKING day courier delivery, where possible.

Do I need to be present for delivery?

Our courier will be able to leave your package in a location specified by you if you are not at home! Please note though we or the couriers will not be responsible for packages left in warm environments, such as a summerhouse or porch!

How long will my order take to be delivered?

All our deliveries use a NEXT WORKING DAY courier service when ordered before 12pm. But we cannot guarantee any delays caused by the couriers.

Do you ship abroad?

At present no… but we hope to very soon.

WHEYBETTER® products are available via various different outlets and wholesalers. Please visit our where to buy page for the most up to date information

Is your packaging recyclable?

You cannot recycle the packaging at home but you can take it to a large supermarkets and recycle it with other plastic bags.

BEST BEFORE DATES

BEST BEFORE DATES are a legal requirement for food production and are an advisory for the customer that after this date the product may begin to change in some form, such as texture, colour, taste. Food is generally perfectly fine to consume long after these dates. This date is about quality and not safety. "After the best before date listed on a product, the food will be safe to eat but may not be at its best."

What does this mean for Wheybetter? Some of our stock maybe sold close to or slightly past our initial BBE date. We chose this date initially, but our manufacturers have stated we could have had an additional 6 months, which will be added in future batches.
